This is a picture that I took when I was on holiday (so much time ago!!) ... now I almost don't remember of having been there. Yes I'm so stressed !! ... but I discovered that "The most effective resource against stress is the ability to choose one thought over another". In fact, those who manage to control stress are able to choose the thoughts on which to focus their mind. I rarely succeed, but when I succeed: IT WORKS !!!
In any case, a good way to relieve stress is to sing and above all improvise! Because the moment we let ourselves go and improvise, the mind detaches itself from heavy, dark and obsessive thoughts, to give space to lightness, surprise, curiosity and joy.

Yes I'm so busy organizing the new season, but I'm so happy because I will travel a lot in Italy and in Europe... and may be to the States (who knows?!) Don't put limit to the Providence. In the meanwhile I'm preparing to go to Rome on the next weekend for a workshop on Collaborative Vocal Improvisation and a concert with GiuliaRobert (my duo with Giulia Matteucci) and the girls of Circlesinging Roma - Chiara Cortez, Daphne Nisi and Cristina D'Arcangelo.

I will also give a workshop Sound and Silence at the TIN Festival in Düsseldorf on the 4th of November and a concert with Pop up Band (trio with Kees Kool and Rahel Comtesse) and Anthropos (Jaka Skapin & Guillermo Rozenthuler quartet) on the 5th.
|
Then on January 13-14 I will be in Bruxelles with Baptiste Vaes and...
Let's see in the next months.
But I want also to celebrate the birth on The Well, the brand new site about vocal improvisation facilitators and improvisers all over the world. Go there and have a look!
